Chamberstick
Middle 18th century. Rosewood. 2-7/8" D × 1-3/8" H. Takes 3/8" diameter candle.
Chanbersticks were used to grab the flame from the oil lamp, and then carry the flame to one's bedroom. And light the oil lamp there.
